Delphin Maintenance call

So.. i have one Delphin vacuum for over 5 years and no complains until the office called me last week and said I havent done any maintenance call with them to do maintenance for my vacuum.

The CSO assured its completely FOC and the maintenance will take 45mins.

Fateful day came, the person who came for the maintenance came with a big luggage, I am assuming cleaning/maintenance tools etc.

All she did was superficial cleaning with MY WET WIPES, remove the filter cap and ask for a brush FROM ME.

At this point i was baffled and ask her arent you suppose to have your tools? Realisation hit me, this is a friggin sales talk!

She continue on with superficial cleaning and alas we have come to the dreadful sales pitch of trading in my perfectly good condition machine for a newer/better/shinier one at $3.8k AFTER trading in mine.

What a waste of my time and coming to your home under the guise of maintenance. Just take note.

Representatives of dolphin vacumn (xu run holdings pte ltd) Jason-9721**** and 2 of his other colleagues whom are Chinese ladies cheated my

uneducated mother to allow them to our residential premises on the pre-text of providing free aircon services on 12/6/2021 where is law breaking to even have more than 2 to enter a residential home during this covid period.

they use the excuse of free air-con servicing to enter the premises and during the wash, they tried to hard sell the vacuum, and mentioned that they are here to do good to the society and for doing good they require my uneducated mother credit card details in exchange for the vacuum

i was on a zoom meeting and came out of my room to find what were the commotion because i cannot concentrate on my zoom meeting and was shocked to find 3 personnel standing at the hall of the residential area.

I told them straight that they are breaking the measurement act that are imposed by government and why are they here.

they were taken aback and left shortly after they failed to collect the credit details of my uneducated mother and mentioned that they are here to do charity to man kind.

so much for hard selling and cheating uneducated singaporean

they would go to the extend of breaking-covid measure law

This is my 4th time coming down to do repairs. 4th motor issue. With the price it doesn't suit. Its overprice and not reliable. During sale the guy offer 10 years warranty. Only today the inform its only 3years. Such a scam.

Me too. Go down many times for the motor issue.

After getting the extra warranty for another 3 years (during the additional warranty, the motor still have issue, around 3 to 4 times). The vacuum is not working again but no more warranty already.

Rude salesperson.( IVAN ) I recently bought delphine by installment plans. I understand well that payments has to be made promptly but why I dont understand how come theres no acknowledgement statement of account receipt or document sent to me when I ask for it?

When I ask the salesperson he said cant plus I give him trouble about all this and he said if I cannot afford to pay just say so. What kind of attitude and service is this? As a paying customer I have every right to to ask for a statement / receipt after making payment.

He mention its so a hassle because need to print out and send . Your company selling very expensive vacuum cannot afford to send a e - copy statement by email?And please inform that staff ( Ivan ) to communicate to customers with RESPECT !

My name is BT Lee.

I'm the only one handling the machine at home. I do not have a maid.

Hence, my problem with the machine is my personal encounter.

True experience.

I did not face any problem using the machine but when I hooked on the power brush and after few minutes the machine would be wobbling.

Again I was told that there was nothing wrong with my power brush.w quote : there's no problem with your power brush. unquote.

It was kind of a frustrating where your technician just put a full stop. At least as a customer I would like the technician to suggest options to trouble shoot or resolve my problem. By texting the customer that the machine was ready for collection painted a false hope to the customer that it was rectified and their job ended.

This machine was sent in a couple of times with the similar complaint but todate it was not rectified and with no solution.

Desperately disappointed with the outcome. I strongly suggest that you have a more professional lady at the counter.

She argued that I told her that the machine stopped completely when hooked on the power brush. By putting words into my mouth I thought it was not intelligent of her.

I did not purchased the vacuum cleaner, however i purchased the package for the service guy to come and clean. Each session is a truly unpleasant period of time as the service person do not take his job seriously. Cleaning 4 items ( bed and curtains takes about 15 mins only). He is always late and thus disrupt my schedule and leave in less than 15 mins. Work is really slipshod. And throughout the cleaning, his eyes are glued to his phone ALL THE TIME.

AngryHome Servicing - Beware, it is a scam!

Was approached at a booth, told me that they are sending engineers to service my old machine. I agreed, appt made.

On the phone, I double confirmed with the staff that it should be only servicing and not selling. But when the guy turned up, he just look at my machine, show me some old parts and pictures....no cleaning, no servicing. BUT keep pushing me to upgrade my machine for $2568, offering a trade in of $1500. When i told him that the appt is not this purpose and if i need to upgrade, i do it later as i am not sure if i still have my job!

He was upset and comment..just tell me you have no money! Frankly, I love dephin machine but this salesman make me very angry.

I have been an ambassador for Delphin machine but this really turns me off. I think i would pay for other machine to avoid being hassle again.

Unethical sales tactics

I want to share my negative experience with Delphin this week. Firstly, a lady knocked at our door claiming that she is from a new company, Xu Run, offering cleaning services at $20/aircon/mattress/sofa and a free 1-hr trial of 2 items. Since I usually pay $40/aircon for basic cleaning, I was interested in the trial and cleaning service. I asked if they had ala carte services as i dont want to buy a vacuum and a Cleaning package (Had bad past experiences with vacuum demos). The lady assured me that they offer ala carte services. When the trial staff arrived, he did clean my aircon and sofa and mattress quite well for free. However he took 2 hrs instead of 1 hr to do so, all the time showing me every feature and benefit of the machine and selling me on the machine even though I explained many times that i wasnt interested in the machine and only in the ala carte cleaning service that I was assured they provide. He insisted there is no ala carte service and only a 12-visit package at $107/visit to clean 3 items. At one point he raised his voice demanding why I dont want to buy the machine to save money and that he will only recommend servicing package to elderly who have problems cleaning by themselves. He finally left without being interested in getting a service package from me. The machine itself seemed quite effective at removing dirt. However the unethical AND deliberately misleading conduct of Delphin staff from the very beginning makes me very wary of them. I also do not want to reward companies with such poor staff training and management with any sales. Beware of their free gift offers and bait-and-switch sales tactics- lie and offer freebies to enter my home, then waste my time and make it difficult and unpleasant to get them to leave.

As i was serving my aircon using Delphin. Out of sudden, the sound of my Delphin changed. At first I thought it was normal, I ignored and resume my cleaning. After few sec the sound and the vibrating became more and more weird. As i walk the my Delphin, it bring out smoke like its starting to get burned. I stop the machine and opened everything. When i checked the cable, cable is good. Slightly burn burned on the attachment motherboard join (RED WIRE live) all good. There is nothing stuck, only burning small. I just want to confirm that the motor is burned. I open and take a look. Yes the wire is burned. If you want me to take a phone just call me or leave me a email. Now i want to know if there is one to one exchange? I hope to hear from you.
